The EN 71 standard

EN 71 is the European toy safety standard. The set was tested to these parts:

• EN 71-1: mechanical and physical properties
• EN 71-2: flammability
• EN 71-3: migration of certain elements

Chemicals and packaging

The testing also covered:

• REACH: phthalates, polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAH), cadmium and organotin compounds
• persistent organic pollutants (POPs)
• the packaging under Directive 94/62/EC

The CE mark

With the CE mark, the manufacturer declares that the toy meets the European Toy Safety Directive 2009/48/EC.

Age and child safety

The box states ages 6 to 15. We recommend the set from age 6.

Warning! Not suitable for children under 36 months. Small parts. Choking hazard. Ages 6+.

Tips for parents

• When older children build, keep an eye on younger brothers and sisters.
• Keep small parts out of reach of children under 3.
